New Year's Update
Added 2021-01-01 19:21:07 +0000 UTCWhat's up Sonic Squad? Just posting another one of these updates so you know what I'm up to. Like I said in my avatar video I'm trying to work on making some shorter videos between my more substantive projects. Originally I was going for two short videos under ten minutes in December more evenly spaced out but that NPCs video ended up running a little long. Also I know I keep saying this and not doing it but I think this month I will try streaming a few times, along with the shorter videos it should be a nice way to get out some semi-regular content so it's not just like months of silence between my longer projects.
Some people have been asking me if I'm going to make a video on the new Sonic 1 prototype that was just released and yeah I think I will, I mean I don't have too much to add other than "hey look how neat this is" but I can go over some of the shit and compare it to what I said back in my initial Sonic 1 Bonus Video from twelve years ago, like I'm glad we can finally see the Sparkling Zone in action. And there are some really cool new discoveries like those weird Ball Hogs in Green Hill Zone. It could be neat to just make a quick video talking about some of the new shit and also giving a little context into just how incredible a find this was, I mean after three decades this thing still exists and managed to find it's way into collector's hands.
Still doing general Sonic related research, re-reading old comics, watching old shows, etc. I know some people want me to talk about the movie, I did briefly touch on it in the latest video, I just feel like I don't really have anything too substantial to say about it, other than it was pretty good, I mean it wasn't like a cinematic masterpiece but for what it was it wasn't bad, especially considering it was a video game movie. I'm definitely interested in what they'll be doing for the sequel, with Knuckles having been confirmed to appear in it recently. Maybe I will make a video about it just so I have an excuse to talk about the OVA again too. Frankly if there was any justice in this world I would have received a call from Hollywood by now offering me a cameo or starring role in the film but hey that's show business.

No rush on the Sonic 1 Bonus Bonus Video, Im sure itll be great even if it takes a bit. I loved the NPC and Avatar videos a lot, keep up the great work.

No rush / no pressure on making a longer video; was mostly curious on how much you liked it as a sonic superfan, so .. that covers that! (I also really liked it; great sonic movie, and as a huge fan of both Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey I was so satisfied with their performances ... only complaint is that the scope was so small, but that's good for an introduction; I hope we go balls-to-the-wall chaos emeralds storyline in the sequel!) Thanks for the latest awesome videos! PS: "Friendship with Sonic has ended" is some of the funniest shit ever.

Its why I love Ross Game Dungeon so much. Its less about the game itself and more how it effects YOU. It seems recently some youtubers are getting so good at content and research that it feels like a wikipedia article more than a charming talk about their personal experiences with a game. So yeah, keep it up. Especially the NPC dialog one, I cannot wait to see the other games.

I mean it would certainly be appealing to new subscribers and it would bump up the overall production quality :P Happy new year n' stuff! the NPC video was really fun. It would be cool to see one about Unleashed and 06, I certainly didn't pay enough attention to those
