802 Wildsor - (D&D 5e + Shadowdark)
Added 2024-09-21 17:32:31 +0000 UTCDenizens of the Tower! In Wildsor, the heroes travel to the fire-scorched terrains of Leaf Valley on their way to Northcrest Mountain to confront the ruby dragon. Or if they are not ready yet, they can help the commonfolk survive the ordeal of the dragon's flying passes. Wildsor, the closest settlement to the dormant volcano, has had it the worst. Half the buildings and a great portion of the surrounding farmlands have been burnt to crisps as the dragon passes by frequently.
Surprisingly, some of the locals are resilient farmers and they have chosen to stay here to confront the Ruby Dragon in deadly combat. They brought two siege scorpions from the walls of Queendell to attempt to kill the beast. The farmers, untrained in the art of war, have only their resolve and wits to do this but this is a doomed battle. The characters' arrival sparks a light of hope in the hearts of the beleaguered farmers. Alas, is there a chance to defeat the dragon here?
