761 Heart of Decay - D&D 5e + Shadowdark

In Heart of Decay, the characters have disabled the orbs of power in El-Unore Reaches and have all that's needed to cast the ritual Dream of the Eladrin Fey. With this obscure magic, they dissolve the force field that surrounds the source of the powdery rot that assails the fey realm. They approach the enormous flower bud; it shall soon bloom again...
An underground, half-living compound lies underneath the flower bud. The characters must delve into this spider-infested, quasi-living dungeon to find the source of darkness. In the deepest chamber, an androgynous being from the Feywils awaits them. It is the embodiment of decay and rot; a primal force that cannot help itself in consuming all life around it. Only the strongest warriors can aspire to beat this entity and finally bring peace to El-Unore Reaches.
