Her remains and her fabled sword were spread across several chambers with magical wards in place to prevent meddling and the revivification or reanimation of the feared Lady Maria Ornatt. Legend has it that Lady Maria's blade is a mighty weapon worthy of heroes.
When the characters arrive, they soon encounter deadly traps and merciless undead guardians. There are even non-hostile spirits that beg them to stop their attempts at plundering this tomb. They claim that the rewards are not worth the danger of releasing the evil woman's spirit from her seemingly eternal imprisonment.
This is an adventure that brings the heroes to a cursed sepulcher, pits them against a dungeon filled with lethal traps and guardians, and gives them the chance of acquiring a legendary blade and releasing an evil spirit.
This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
