Traveler! Word is on the street about a strange figure, an obscure performer, a medium with the power to contact dead relatives and read your fortune. His name is Dante Grayheart and he is known in the region for his ability to bring people together with their long-gone significant others. The unbelievers say he's just a trickster that dupes nostalgia-driven people to take their hard-earned money. Dante may be a trickster but he is so much more...

Recently, he came into possession of a necromancy book that details a pretty foul spell that may for once give Dante real power. His defunct moral compass is not an obstacle to potentially taking two dozen lives in one go. The characters become involved when Dante lures twenty people into Stalwart City's mausoleum to use them as sacrifices for his ritual. Fortunately, a man came back in panic after he saw the undead goons that follow Dante everywhere he goes. Only the characters can aspire to save the day!

Here's a close-up of Stawart City's mausoleum entrance where a couple of reanimated ghouls let only Dante's invitees through.

Down in the mausoleum, Dante has convinced the characters to chant a ritual that shall undeniably end most of their lives. They think they shall reach a person they miss but it is all a sham. Unless someone interferes, their lives are forfeit!
