A man from the distant past is stranded in our timeline!

Traveler! An ancient covenant of elves dedicated several thousand years to the study of time and its flow. They intended to find a way to control the passage of time and ultimately make a journey to a different timeline. They built three magical mirrors for this purpose and placed them in a vault. The chronomancer elves ultimately disappeared. Their fate remains unknown. But the mirrors are still in the vault and they are now active.

Over the past year, the active mirrors have spewed out echoes from the past. Voices from past timelines and strange visitors from the distant past! These visitors speak dead tongues and, in some cases, have become insane from the journey through time. The local authorities have tasked a group of brave adventurers with finding the origin of the outlandish visitors and preventing their appearance. A man from thousands of years ago hides in the cave near the mirrors and may prove helpful to the characters!

Here's a close-up of the cavern complex next to the chronomancers' vault. There is evidence of a pack of badgers and that of Apoktek, the ancient man stranded in this timeline.

The Mirrors of Gath are in an elvish vault that has been partly reclaimed by nature. Little remains of the large elvish compound but the mirrors are still in pristine condition.
