333 The Converging Fort

We start the month with a cool underground location. This is a strange underground complex which functioned as a fort of sorts near a well-trafficked crossroads. On the surface, the only thing visible is a squat tower with a large stable. The stable is too large for the tower but the stone building is only an entrance to the underground complex. A quirky architect was commissioned to build the place and he chose to do so in the shape of several schematics of the multiverse of planes. He was not a scholar himself but he used the interesting shapes of the planes as a base for the fort. While the result is strange and, in places, not practical. No efforts were made to change or fix the place later one.
Today the place lays in ruins after a band of gnolls took over the fort and killed or ate most of the soldiers inside. A local lord offers a hefty reward for any valiant sellsword who can reclaim the military outpost from the hyenafolk.
