314 Straster City

This is Straster City. A large settlement located inside a mountainous bay. Its location and orography give it a good strategic value and defensibility. The city is known for its plentiful fish products exports, natural hospitality, but most of all, because of the implacable justice system. The ruler of this town is a female gnome with a meticulous sense of justice and enforcement. She is cunning, ruthless, and cruel. Most crimes carry a death sentence, and all of them are performed one day after the swift trial. Worst of all, the execution method is public drowning. Because of this, crime in the city is low if not non-existent. The very real fear of persecution and drowning are enough to deter most criminals. On average, 1 to 2 drownings occur per week.
Adventurers in town would do well to make powerful friends insulate themselves from the constant persecution of the authorities. One bad move could put them on the wrong side of the justice system in Straster City.
This illustration comes in the usual formats and includes the PDF adventure/lore. Like the past urban release. I've included lots of NPCs and many short quests and favors all these people need from someone else.

I see a man of culture. It is Sanction! It was commissioned by a client a while ago. I made some changes to share it here since I don't know the IP. I those versions are useful to you, just send me a message and I can gift them to you.

2023-01-24 15:27:06 +0000 UTCThis looks a lot like the city of Sanction in the Age of Mortals (after the city was tamed by the Geomancer Hogan Bight). If the moat was made of lava from the volcanoes instead of water of course.
