Patreon things...
Added 2024-03-13 01:22:45 +0000 UTCI want to talk a little about what is currently happening on Patreon, as some may have noticed, some content creators have been deleted from the platform, there is a lot of speculation why but just today I received an email that is well seen on patreon and what not. I don't have to say the reason for my concern and anger, since I know that many times I have crossed the line, in the end guidelines like this limit my creative freedom, which is very demotivating.
I have been on Patreon for more than 6 years, I don't have a big community but many of my Patreons have become a second family since they have always been there to support me in the worst moments and I don't feel comfortable with the idea of "moving" to another platform, although I am open to hearing your opinions on the matter.
Currently I have deleted all the content that Patreon could consider "problematic" and I am still considering what to do with it, although the idea of discord is attractive again, although I would have to do everything manually so that it is not directly linked to Patreon, which means more work.
Anyway, I'm sad about the current situation.
