I especially felt that way during many "discussion forum" classes I took about thorough art analysis... I would need to participate and I just felt like I was "way off" about everything when I did, and I felt (probably falsely looking back) that I was being judged and snickered at. I'd imagine it's different though when there's specific, direct material to learn. YOU GOT DIS EMMA!! And the receipt running out of paper is a good sign!! Hope you got some good rest afterwards!

(So sometimes even when a person doesn't break any driving laws, they can still get screwed over).

2025-02-05 05:28:55 +0000 UTCi have never done well in college language classes, i find learning with activities and immersion is a lot more effective for me. i’m learning spanish and i’ve learned and retained a lot more by watching youtube (asmr in spanish one of my favs), watching netflix, having spanish speaking penpals and using websites like busuu and italki. it’s probably not that you’re not as intelligent as your classmates, but school structure works for some people and not others. i’m not saying drop the class ofc, but maybe doing some of your normal activities in japanese will help. (that way you wont have to do any more than you already are, just changing the language of some of the things you’re already doing)

Like my teacher speaks spanish to us, and most of my classmates just knows what he’s saying and I’m sitting there as a question mark. It’s so infuriating cause I understand a lot of the words on paper, but I just seriously can’t make out my own sentences or understand it when people are talking. I try so hard but it’s so difficult ugh. Anyways, the point of this is to tell you that I totally understand and relate to you girl
