2025-06-30 16:52:40 +0000 UTCTrust me, as somebody with friends and family in Britain, and who loves on an island whose Northern half (wellβ¦. ish) threatens to collapse into the abyss of sectarian violence because of this, I honestly just feel tired and sad. Itβs very depressing to see those queues at food banks, those staff shortages, and everything like that. My brother was living in England and planning to settle in London, but then had to move to Australia. (He was a doctor during COVID. Heβs told me horror stories.) I do think there is a profound sadness to β28 Years Laterβ that really resonated with me as a concerned neighbour.
