We're finally starting the write-ins for our podcasts, starting with episode 49 of Firelink this week.
We'll be talking about the games we're looking forward to, our general thoughts about where the industry is headed this year, plans for Second Wind this year and of course our usual what we've been up to!
Send in your thoughts, questions, or topics you'd be interested in us discussing! We won't have time to read and discuss everything, and please keep it topical, safe for work and aren't huge walls of text.

It works like your regular Swear Jar, you put in a dollar (or more) for every Switch 2 prediction that turns out to be wrong. If, at the end of the year, or an actual announcement by Nintendo of the release of a Switch 2, one of the predictions turned out to be right, the money goes to the maker of the most accurate prediction. If, by the end of the year, none of the predictions turned out to be right, the money's put up into a raffle so that the a member of the 2W community can have a chance to win it, be it in merch or member tier.

I LOVE how well you all get along & the snarky byplay between you all, but one of my favorite ever comments made by Yahtzee was about how much fun it was to shoot Nick in the face. JRPGs are my games of choice and I love that PS2 Shin Megami Tensei games are being retooled for the PC: SMT Persona 3, SMT Nocturne & all. I would commit small crimes to get SMT's 'Digital Devil Saga 1&2' out for the PC - or to get 'Shadowheart' remade for PC, or even the iPad for that matter. Are there any JRPGs that any of YOU are longing to see remade? Also question = how long does it take for a patreon subscriber's name to show up in the end credit list? It's been 3 months & I still don't see my name in the teeny print.

Do you have any people that love games in your lives that are psyched to hear about the next big thing? Or do you switch into "normie mode" when youre outside this sphere?

XBox has a strong release schedule ahead of it, and the Steam indie market always turns out a quantity of gems. The slate looks promising, do you think this will be a year of recovery, or are we going to be sticking another *but on the end of this one too?

2025-01-07 19:25:46 +0000 UTCI believe we got Marty's take on Windbreakers, and i would really like to know Nick's and KC's input on the potential fall of Ubisoft that we're seeing. i'm iffy and can't really contend with how mixed my feelings are between hoping that the Guillemot family loses everything, and feeling awful for all of the workers. That and I have played enough Ubisoft games over the years that it's kind of depressing for me.

I want to support small creators but I'm not sure where I should be looking for what's new.
