End of the Year Plans!

Hey folks,

Quick little update as we're close to wrapping up the year here on Second Wind.

December 20th will be the last workday of the year for us on Second Wind, and we'll be closing out the year with an event day with the continuation of Dokapon Kingdom and then Lockdown Protocol! We will return in proper on January 3rd.

Some streams may still happen over the break sporadically when people are available and want to jump on, but nothing set in stone right now. We also have a few videos planned to drop over break including our favorite games round-up, favorite movie and TV shows round-up, and probably a few last minute Bytesized we have in the works as well.

The Best, Worst and Blandest of 2024 will arrive on January 1st as it's a Wednesday, so that'll be a great way to kick off the year, and then the week after will be the compilation video for 2023 - 2024 before Yahtzee gets back into the swing of things the week after that.

And yes, there will be an audio version of it available on Spotify as well just as we've done in the past for those of you that like having it as a sleep aid.

For those of you waiting on merch from Shark Robot, I will get updates for you on pre-orders. Some of them like plushies and such I know are expected to ship early next year, and the Fully Ramblomatic Blu-Ray won't ship until after Best, Worst and Blandest because we need to get that on the disc. I think our expectation there was for those to ship in either late February or March, but I will confirm.

This weekend we will also open up a post here on Discord for a Q&A with Yahtzee that he will select questions from, record answers to and we will include on the blu-ray!

As a continued update on merch, we are moving to a new provider very soon. I will have updates on that for you as soon as I'm able to share them as this provider can also service international orders better as well! We have some great new premium designs ready to launch that store with we think you're going to love.

This will not affect any current Shark Robot orders, as this is for new items we're working on only.

The Animal Well doc is also being pushed to early 2025 as well to give Javed more time to edit it as we've had some other projects that had to take priority. BUT, we will have the Q&A video up tomorrow for those of you that submitted questions via Patreon! This will be available to everyone, not just Patreon supporters.

For Patreon supporters, your exclusive video this month will be a Director's Commentary from Javed on Metal Gear Untold, and in January, you'll be getting something very fun from Yahtzee!

Podcast write-ins will start in January on Patreon. We decided not to start them right away because with the holidays coming up we'd be inconsistent with it, so we'll start properly in the new year.

Finally, The Game Awards are tomorrow, so make sure to join Marty, KC and I as we stream, play our annual Bingo (losers has to play a horrible game of the winner's choosing) and celebrate this year's best games.
