It was exactly six months ago today that everything happened with The Escapist and Second Wind was born.
It's been an incredible six months and the community has had our back the whole way.
From our team to you, a big thank you.
Later this month we'll be hosting a six-month celebration stream event in which we'll be playing games with the community, giving out a ton of game codes, announcing some new projects, teasing some stuff we've been working on, putting out our next big wave of merch, and in general raising funds towards our continued sustainability!
Stay tuned for more updates on that in the next week or so for timing and what we'll be doing.
In the meantime, if you haven't yet joined our Patreon and would like to support our work, this month is when we're making a big push to get back close to that $60K mark to cover the majority of our costs.

It feels like this channel is moving towards something sustainable in the long run where media needs to be in the future. Not chasing the algorithm or chasing view count, but rather creating good, solid content that people want to pay to watch. This is more akin to what newspapers used to be like back in the 60's where sure they made a good chunk from subscriptions but also a good chunk from advertising to those subscribers through brand deals like it seems you are doing.

Its been wonderful to see shows such as Cold Take and Design Dive actually getting more views and exposure on the new channel, as well as seeing new content such as Unpacked, the streams and of course the completely new show Fully Ramblamatic. Can't wait to see more - especially more Adventure is Nigh; really, really cant wait to carry on with that!
