I already have had plenty of simulated parasocial bonding relating to them watching beautiful movies, but to see them watch that film, it would be like going back in time and watching my favorite childhood film with girls just at the age I was starting to like them and pretending we're all the same 8 years old's again and that life still had hope.

2024-01-17 12:02:00 +0000 UTCIt's INSANE how many people put Anchorman on the same level or higher than Casino Royal, The Prestige, Requiem for a Dream, Tombstone, Pan's Labyrinth etc. They know that Will Ferrell acts like Ron in pretty much every other SNL sketch, right? Sometimes he's fantastic, and has an actual character(Elf) then most times he's just Will shouting loudly.

I just wish they would watch a few serious movies from time to time, like the prestige for example, or movies based on true stories. hard to get any of them to win as they have a bigger support base for everything kid and comedy related it seems atm.
