2023-11-28 14:40:40 +0000 UTCExactly Darnell. My feeling on 2049 is that is excessively too long although the SFX and score is amazing. I forgot Ken from Barbie was the lead. In my opinion feature length films, in general, should not be over 2 1/2 hours to tell the story unless it is a planned sequel franchise like Lord of the Rings or the intitial Star Wars trilogies. Officer K is a Nexus 9 replicant that acts more human than replicant as if he has a soul which is brought up in a scene. Wish that could have been explored more i.e. Ex Machina. Do sentient A.I. robots have a soul and if so how and when do it get one. The ghost in the machine.
