I have one quip with the ending. Hercules has to have kept his immortality. No way he didn't. He lost his glow to blend in with the humans. But he is still a god. Zeus had no power to change him from immortal to mortal. As demonstrated earlier, Hades had to have him drink a potion to become mortal. So Herc is still an immortal god, he's just in disguise.

This is another one of my favorites! Ya know the story of this Hercules was kinda like the story of Superman in a way. Also Megara was like another Lois Lane in persona.

Hercules is the symbol of our city. He stands at the top of a mountain and watches over our city. you can even go up there and you have an amazing view from there. not too far from him is a small castle and a palace. But that's not all, our city has much more to offer. maybe not the most beautiful city, but still very worth seeing.

He lost all his colour. I guess we'll never know.

One of my fav Disney movies I’ve ever seen when I was a kid

I always thought he kept his strength. Even though he chose to remain on Earth and didn't become a god, he kept his super strength.

I'm disappointed he lost his strength at the end. I would've asked Zeus if I could keep my strength at least. After all Herc was still mortal at the beginning but with a little bit of God. I bet most guys felt this way at the end lol.

Me and my brothers had this on VHS watched it 1000 times! Love it

Growing up this was my favourite Disney movie. It's much nicer than the real mythology. His actual mother was a mortal and Hera (Zeus's wife and god of marriage) grew jealous and angry because of Zeus's infidelity. So she sent his son (Hercules) a madness in which he saw his family as enemies and he killed Megara and his children. To atone he was sent to complete his 12 labours. Quite an insult to the myth that Hera is portrayed as the nice mother of Hercules in this.
