I grew up with this film (I was born in 1980). The animated TV series ("The Real Ghostbusters", not to be confused with the other series based on the Ghostbusters, called "Filmation's Ghostbusters", aired in the same year (1986), which uses its name and fact that they catch ghosts, but is made in a manner very different from the original one) was a cult for children/teenagers of those years and we all learned to love Slimer, the green ghost captured at the beginning and who you see at the end of the film, before the credits (which in the cartoons series is the "mascot" of the ghostbusters, a bit like if it were a pet). I hope you liked it and that you want to react also at the second chapter (1989), which in my opinion it's an excellent film (which is absolutely not to say for the other two of the last few years). Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis (Ray & Egon) were two genes in writing the scripts of the first two Ghostbusters and Aykroyd and Bill Murray (Peter) were two of the greatest comic actors that the "Saturday Night Live" (the most famous American comedy show) have ever had. Characters of this type could not create anything less fun.
