I'm sorry. I have a lot to say about Disney Pixar movies. Especially the ones early 2010s and before. One last thing about this one. It's kinda about the first one, too. Mattel didn't have any toy product placements in the first movie. I believe Disney asked Mattel if they could use Barbies. Mattel said no. Disney put a joke about Mattel in the first movie. When the toys were telling Buzz where they were from, Rex says this, "And I'm from Mattel. Well, I'm not really from Mattel. I'm actually from a smaller company that was purchased in a leveraged buyout." I always thought this was hilarious! Because in TS2 you see Barbies. Mattel let them put their toys in Toy Story.

2022-10-27 18:00:44 +0000 UTCI worked at Disney when Toy Story came out which makes me Kind of an elder I guess. It blew the staff away. The writing, the animation, the sympathetic characters and the common childhood fantasy that toys come alive when you are gone. We knew it would be a major hit. It is thrilling to see it given new birth here and the comments.
