The different dynamics of the relationships Will has with his friends, Sean, Skylar & the professor is so interesting. But it really is the growing relationship, friendship and trust between Will & Sean that drives this movie for me. In my opinion this is one of the late great Robin Williams greatest roles, even though he will forever be remembered for his amazing comedic talent. As another comment mentioned this was written by Matt Damon & Ben Affleck. However, to expand upon that. Matt Damon originally started writing this film as a 40 page script as an assignment while studying at Harvard. The only scene from that original script that remained in the film according to Matt Damon is the scene where Will meets Sean for the first time. A few years later Matt Damon asked Ben Affleck to develop the screenplay which won them the Best Original Screenplay Oscar. Thank You both Ellie & Michelle. Truly great reaction to an amazing movie.
