2021-09-02 19:47:05 +0000 UTCOh man, you two, lol. I’ll keep this as brief as possible. This trilogy, the next two movies and the newest MCU movies all are a mash up of Spider-Man’s origin story. This one is pretty close to the comic story with a few differences which you’ll see after watching them all. Ellie, the reason Peter never said what he wanted to say to MJ was because he never felt good enough for her and yes, he hoped she would eventually see he was worth her time. Peter is a young kid / man and just learning how to be an adult and a super-hero which is why so many people identify with him. He’s always trying to do everything right and winds up making things worse. He ‘friend zoned’ MJ, because he knows if she’s with him, she’s always going to be a target for his (Spider-Man’s) enemies. The other movies do a decent job of showing this, but I’m sure you should have picked it up from the MCU movies by now. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you got the idea by now. Hopefully you’ll watch the other Marvel movies, even the bad ones. You might want to because some of them might be showing up in the next few movies.
