Ellie’s excitement over watching this movie again & also knowing it will blow Blue’s mind was exactly how I felt when Ellie watched “Kill Bill Vol. 1” for the first time. I mean sure…each and every one of Tarantino’s films are a genre unto themselves; where almost nothing goes the way you expect. But in my opinion, “Kill Bill Vol. 1” is one of those extremely rare movies that feels more like a spiritual experience rather than a piece of entertainment. (I’m sure people feel this way about his other films like, “Jackie Brown,” and “Inglorious Basterds,” and that’s 100% legit since there are no ‘wrong answers’ – that’s my point.) This reaction gets a score of 11/10. Actually, more like a billion out of ten. Can’t wait for Vol. 2. Cheers.
