2021-03-12 00:27:17 +0000 UTCThe liquid that spilled from the truck was Liquid Nitrogen (which is written on the truck). Liquid Nitrogen is as cold as -210 Celsius (-346 Fahrenheit). The T-1000 terminator is liquid metal. Metal becomes hard and brittle in extreme cold temperatures, allowing it to be shattered. However, exposed to room temperature air, Liquid Nitrogen becomes a gas, and the shattered metal warmed back up. They couldn't have attached the hand they had from the previous Terminator from 1984 because it was a right hand. Well, they could have but he would have had 2 right hands....
