Modern Game Devlog: Intro Scenes Preview

Hey everyone hope you're all doing well, It's been a bit but there's been a lot of progress made on the game so I though I would go over what has been happening and show a few previews from the intro

There are 4 locations that will be in the first release of the game which are all 90% complete. All of the the assets that are required are finished and the surrounding areas are built up too. The lighting and rendering isn't where I want it to be but that is easily changeable and can be adjusted as needed. There are still a few other things I would like to touch up or add but for the most part they are done so I can work on that later

The characters and clothes have all been redone as I had previously been using morph targets to change the proportions but this was requiring me to make multiple assets for every piece of clothing and they still would have major clipping issues. I have now switched to using scaling as the main way of shaping the bodies which means that clothes will match the shaping much more closely and require less work to fix. This took a while to change but now that it is done It should mean that going forward it'll be much easier to get clothes ready to use in the game. It also allows me to change the faces of the characters easier if there are any kind of issues

Right now I am working on the story and the animations for the intro which takes place at the pool. There's still a lot to be done but here are some previews of what they look like so far
