August Blog Update! (Please Read)

This one is going to be worth reading! Especially for you long term fans who have read my previous works "ARCO" and "Periwinkle Blue".

I want to start out with a little bit of context... As I get more towards the end of TLLT and closer to creating my next story, I want to be totally transparent about my plans. One of the things I plan on doing soon is removing Periwinkle Blue from Webtoon. Webtoon is constantly tightening their grip on "mature" comics. And if you know anything about the platform from an artists perspective, you probably know that we've got the odds stacked against us as far as visibility goes. Basically... if you're making anything other than "Family Friendly Disney-core" bullshit, you're not going to get seen. You're not getting featured on the homepage. You're not getting bumped up in the listings... etc etc. Webtoon has proven over and over again that they will punish you for any kind of "mature" content.

As a creator this leaves me with little options... in order to try and stay on Webtoons "good side" and better my chances of making it long-term as a creator, I'm going to be removing Periwinkle Blue entirely. I don't want to be flagged as a "mature" creator for censored scenes in a comic that's not even finished. So... here's your warning, if you want to go read PB one last time on webtoon. Do it now lol. (The pages of it here on Patreon will remain up, of course. But I realize that its a LOT easier to read on the app).

ARCO I have a little bit of a different plan for. I am going to be removing it from Webtoon, but then I will re-upload it a couple pages at a time, while ALSO promoting my next comic. I'm going to have to remove some scenes that are currently censored, but it shouldn't be too hard. When I re-upload, it'll be at the same time that I'm working on my next comic, so I can potentially reach more audience all at once.

Which brings me to the next part of this blog update! We're past the halfway mark for the year and it's always around this time that I start to get more pro-active about what's to come. I'll give you the condensed version of my plans.

1# - Finish my Kickstarter stretch goal within this month. I'm working on getting the short story done for those of you who backed! It shouldn't be too much longer.

#2 - Start formatting TLLT Volume 3. I'd like to have this formatted by the end of October, but if it takes longer that's fine--My goal is to have books sent off to print by January. (Note: I will NOT be doing another Kickstarter for this volume. This years Kickstarter, while successfully funded, was a lot more work than I want to deal with again. My plan is to just print books ahead of time, then open an online shop and sell the inventory as I have it).

#3 - Start sketching my next comic around October/November! This will be an interesting thing-- and something I haven't done before. I want to start sketching as much of the story ahead of time as I can, so that after TLLT ends I'll have a nice buffer and pages that only need to be cleaned up and colored before releasing. TLLT will still be the priority until it's over, but there will be some overlap where I'm trying to work on both at the same time. So... pray for me LOL.

#4 - Finish TLLT by Spring next year. This is a loose goal, because it's going to take as long as it needs to take, and I'm not sure yet how many more updates it will have... BUT, we are nearing the final chapter... If it's finished in the spring it will have been a 4 year project for me. That feels perfectly right. (Catch me crying like a baby when it's finally done tho).

As for what happens between all these goals, it's the usual! Try to maintain regular updates... try to give you guys extra content... try to force myself to go to the gym and eat healthy (ugh lol). If you have any questions, please let me know! <3 And as always, thank you for the support.
