We haven't seen this much of Vance up until now (in the comic) and I feel like almost everything I've shared with you guys about him, has been the silly, goofy, ADHD side of Vance. Which.... don't get me wrong, definitely exists! But there's this other side too... the side that's maybe a little too naive... a little too quick to anger. Willing to fight for what he wants...
Also worth noting-- we haven't really seen this side of JUDAS before either! and that's 100% purposeful.
Now, I'd like you to go back and read these two updates to see where the dots connect because it's been a WHILE, but as you know... everything in this story has a purpose and a place <3 I'm not just making shit up as I go!

We're looking at... AT LEAST 2 more updates of Judas backstory, likely 3 though. Buckle up! (It's crazy to think that this whole arc is setting the tone for the "end" of TLLT. Like.... holy shit? The next chapter is CALIFORNIA??? The LAST chapter???

2024-07-22 21:33:58 +0000 UTCYes… what you’re feeling is definitely what I wanted you to be feeling with this update! We still have a lot to uncover but the difference in how Vance and Marleigh felt about the band and how Judas felt is becoming clear… whether or not they even realized lol.

2024-07-18 00:09:59 +0000 UTCOoh… yeah. See, I think the problem is that Judas wanted to be a local legend. Vance and Marleigh were looking bigger than that. Whether or not they realized that… 🤷🏼♂️ But yeah. Makes sense they’d need a band manager when they started getting bigger, especially if they wanted to continue to grow, but it can be hard to let someone else take charge of that. Especially if you’re uncertain of how much you want to grow, or nervous of reaching beyond your comfort zone, or just not good with change in general. (The some Local God by Panic! has started going through my mind, lol.) This has been building for a while, even if we are just coming into it now. We knew a big fight had happened, though.
