Roommates (Doodles)

so the top 3 doodles-- these are side character designs for whatever future comic Keplan and Harver belong to lol. You may notice that I added the original design for Keplan in the top right, BUT, that's only because It's such an altogether different character, I want to include him in the comic anyway. His name is Mio! He's flamboyant, loud, unapologetic, and sassy-- he's got a cockatoo for fucks sake. I will say though, his design needs to be tweaked a little bit so he doesn't look SO much like Keplan. (I DID already tweak a few things though. Like I made his hair slightly longer, I gave him more facial hair, and took away the accessories that I gave to Keplan) He's still a work in progress I guess, but you get the idea.

The other top two characters are Croc and Molly. Croc's design came really easily... I don't think I'll have anything to change about it! Oh, and the name "Croc" came to be because I told Rowdy if we're gonna have a non-binary character they need to have an inanimate object for a name. I suggested Bucket, he suggested Croc. Croc won lol. 

Molly is probably still a work in progress... I'm going for that.... tomboyish, hot lesbian vibe (which I swoooooon for) but I'm not sure about skin tones/ethnicity yet? I think I want to play around with the color palette some more. 

Croc and Molly are in a (poly) relationship, and Mio is their open-relationship third. 

You might be able to guess that, with the cast of this comic, I'm going for two extremes. The Keplan side-- loud and proud LGBTQIA+ / and the Harver side -- Small town, modest country folk. I look forward to the clashing...

Last but not least, lets talk about those bottom drawings LOL. And let's talk about how everyone wants to be a feminist until this song comes on >>> Everywhere I go <<< Not only does it have the power to turn you into a misogynistic asshole, but it has the power to turn even the gayest of guys into straight man whores. (I'm imagining Harver just sitting in the corner of Keplan's tiny bedroom mortified and slightly turned on). 

 Oh and, for the record, I had to watch like 30 Tiktok thirst traps before drawing Keplan dancing like that. You're welcome.
