John Stamos turned into a... skater boy? LOL

This is an ongoing investigation to find the right match, and I really hope y'all don't mind.

I thought it might help to draw the two character's together and see how the vibes felt... this actually works for me in terms of like... masculine energy? Idk how to explain it, but trying to make the characters drastically different as far as their masculinity goes just wasn't working. And I think that stems from the believability of cowboy falling for girly/ultra flamboyant twink? I'm going for more of a rivalry thing between them, and I think them having a similar energy in that sense also works. More clashing...

Downside to this set of doodles, is that it's giving Keith from Voltron, and as much as I like Keith, I will get annoyed by people comparing the two. So something here's gotta change. I wanna say I'm getting closer still, but there's a balance I'm trying to find. I think next I'm gonna try... longer hair but no mullet, maybe bring back the dyed streak in his hair?

Anyway the rest of my work week is gonna be spent on TLLT and mini comics/TLLT doodles and stuff so I'm gonna let my brain rest from these two for a bit. Then maybe I can come back and figure it out lol.
