Character??? Design???
Added 2024-01-30 13:48:23 +0000 UTCI've been doing a little soul searching lately in the "inspiration" department. It's still a ways away, but I'm tiptoeing into the phase of "what comes after TLLT?" and want to start using this time to come up with character designs, potential stories and themes. (you may have noticed by my last poll and my random doodles lol)
Anyway, this drawing sort of.... sprung up out of nowhere for me last night. And instead of feeling like "oh just another doodle" I was kinda like.... "Ohhhh, hello! There you are! where have you been???" which is a good sign lol. Historically, this means the character is actually worthwhile and feels real to me.
He's cute right??? I won't get into the deep dive of my thoughts on him yet, but I will say one thing-- He's got farm boy written all over him, and therefore... has to be Dirt's best friend. Lol.

I love the idea of Dirt being the reckless one that has all the “great” ideas and his friend here is just like “you’re gonna get yourself killed one of these days but I guess I’ll tag along”. And yes to his oh shit face…. DEFINITELY because he spotted Beau coming their direction

XD Of course, since you mentioned him being friends with Dirt… now the first one looks like he’s watching Dirt preparing to do something stupid. “You sure that’s a good idea…?” And the second one, whatever it is Dirt was setting up, Beau just spotted them. XDD
