Inktober (Days 1-5)

I told you guys previously that I wanted to do Inktober this year, and... while that is TRUE-- I wasn't expecting to shift gears at the very last second and do "OCtober" prompts, instead of regular Inktober. Lol. When I saw the list for it though, I was like.... gotta be honest, I'll have way more fun doing these. X) 

So!!! Day's 1-5 as shown above!!! 

Oct. 1 - My Favorite OC - Gabriel Beau Harjo!

Picking a favorite OC is really, really hard lol. But Beau has sorta stood the test of time for me, and I always find myself coming back to him. I've said before that he's my "comfort" character, and so, I figured he deserves the spot. I wanted to draw him as he is in "Honorable Discharge" this time (with his broken arm!) It's funny, sometimes I forget that 90% of that book he was spent in a sling/cast. And lord knows he hated every second of it lol. <3 My grumpy boy.

Oct. 2 - My Oldest OC - June Crow!

Those of you who have been around forever know him well, and maybe some of you newer fans know him too if you've read my novel "The Maple Effect". June is a bit of an angsty shithead (with good reason). But he's also the webcomic character that started it all for me. I could have picked my literal oldest OC (I was four years old when I wrote my first "book" and the main characters was a penguin) but I think June is more "official" lol. He deserves the title. :) 

Oct. 3 - My Newest OC - ????

I'm so sorry, Mr. Eyeball Harvester man... you still don't have a name and I don't have the wherewithal to give you one right now. Please try to control your existential crisis.

Oct. 4 - My Strongest OC - Rhett Rawlins

Now here's a fun one... Rhett Rawlins. For those of you who don't know... is the antagonist character from the short story "RAWHIDE" that Rowdy and I wrote together. He and Sage dated briefly before Sage left for Colorado and met Beau. He is ALSO the character Kinley hooked up with in Texas! 

Oct. 5 - My Weakest OC - Susan Gibson

Oh Susan... You were down at the bottom of the list with Brynn and the only reason he's stronger than you, is because you can't open jars (and he can lol). Now we know the real reason why you didn't want Fletch to go away for his road trip/vacation... how will you have girl dinner without pickles!?!
