Well, this is the first time I've had to put a trigger warning before an update-- and I feel it's more for my public readers than it is for you patreons-- but I wanted to be sure that people don't misread Kinley's "coping mechanism", as something much more heavy. Which isn't to say that it's not a serious topic, because he IS, in some ways, self-harming. I just know that YOU guys following along here know Kinley a lot closer than webtoon and tapas readers do. And I don't want to see pitchforks in the comment section when this goes public lol.

It's challenging to keep an update like this both in the theme of "lighthearted roadtrip BL" as well as give us a glimpse into the dark side of Kinley's struggles. I hope I managed to toe that line okay.

And for the record, this is a part of the story that I have actually really enjoyed (am enjoying) the breakdown of. The last review Rowdy and I did was pretty challenging, and it took some time to figure out the best way to approach this scene, but once we figured it out it was like... oh yes. Yes this is what I wanted-- In just a few updates, we've seen Fletch's behavior towards sex, Judas', and now Kinley's... and they are all pretty polar opposite.

Plus, the plot thickens... I think at this point you can see the beginning of a new arc forming. *rubbing my grubby little hands together*

Finally, I just have to say. Dimitri from WalBEANSs is based on Dimitri from the WalGREENS right down the street from my house-- who Rowdy met one time and wouldn't shut up about for at least thirty minutes. He's a delightfully weird dude.

Oh, and in this universe, it's a miracle anyone buys condoms. They're all SO cringey, I could never xD
