Quick blog update

Hello, Hello my friends. I know-- it's not the beginning of the month yet, so why am I doing a blog update?

Well, because I figure I'll end up doing another Blog update around this time in September, right before I leave to go on my trip to Canada! So by posting this now, we get about a month in-between and... you get a point. 

I'll start by saying the last 3ish weeks have been pretty up and down for me. Mostly down if I'm being honest. My grandmother passed away earlier this month and its been quite challenging for my family. I wasn't super close with her, but she did live with us for about a year and it's hard for me to wrap my head around her being gone. What's harder than that, though, has been watching my dad grieve, and not really being able to do anything about it.

But I digress-- I don't want to focus too much on this. I mostly just wanted to tell you, incase anyone was wondering why this last week seemed a little slow as far as extra art/doodles go. I've been off work for 5 days now (three of those are my normal days off, and 2 days for bereavement) and really in that time I've been chipping away at the update that's going live tomorrow. I was HOPING it would be done a few days ago, but for whatever reason I've just been taking forever on it. You'd think that me being at home would help productivity, right? lol. NO. It's been a lot of me trying to focus and then having to do something else. (I blame having a cute cat within 40 feet of me at all times too. Very distracting!!!) Nevertheless, the update for tomorrow IS done now, which means I have some time left today to try and draw something fun :) 

I've also been working on the kickstarter NSFW a lot. It's mostly colored at this point-- and just needs to be shaded and the text finalized. I'm still hoping that I can have it done by the end of the month! It's been too long of me trying to divide up my time on it, I want it OFF MY PLATE lol. 

Lets see, what else... I still have TLLT books available if anyone wants to buy a copy. And thank you to those who purchased one after my post a few days ago! <3 I had about 10 sales and that's a nice chunk of extra play-money for my trip next month. I've shipped them all out now, so they should be reaching you shortly!

Lastly, I'm really not sure how my update schedule is gonna go for September. I know I will have to take at least a week off for my trip, but since I'm not on a weekly posting schedule right now anyways (I'm currently posting every 10 days) I'm.... not sure when? In theory I should be able to update on the 2nd, 12th, and the 22nd-- which means September could actually be a normal updating month? But then I leave for my trip on the 26th and come back on the 2nd of October. I guess that's when things will get screwy. *rubs my head cuz my brain hurts* Idk LOL. Let's just say for now, I'll keep you posted lol. 

That's about all the news I have for you now. Hope you are doing well, and avoiding the craziness that's been going on... If you or any of your loved ones are in Hawaii, my heart goes out to you after that awful fire on Maui. And if you live on the west coast, I sure hope the shitty hurricane/wildfires/earthquakes haven't gotten to you yet. >_<  Stay safe everyone!!!!
