It's the metal girls, Emi and Chizuru! I've been wanting to draw these cute dorks again for ages, and the time was now. >:3

Long time viewers of the stream will remember when they used to be part of the overlay! And then in 2019 I made a bespoke piece with them (check the final pics above for a reminder :>), and I hadn't drawn them since. They're like these dorky best buds who're into rocking out, and I love 'em.

I wanted to do this almost hugging kind of selfie in swimsuit this time. For Chizuru, I went with this sporty looking swimsuit. Even though she's the more fashion conscious one, she's also more hyper, and so something sporty seems somehow fitting. For Emi, she has a girly top but a more daring high waisted bottom. I'm not sure why but I really like this contrast. I figure she's just dorky enough that she might not know exactly how to dress well - and is why she looks a bit plain or dumpy in other pics - and might pick something accidentally sexier like this. Normally I don't think much about the swimsuit choice, but this one is packed with story. :p

Also, I figured I'd have them in matching black, from the same brand. Maybe this part is the least coherent about all of it, but eh, I think it works.

Originally this wasn't meant to be at a water park but midway through the idea hit me like a bolt of lightning. My first time doing a water park!

I added a variant inspired by purikura pictures, those photo booths in japan that print out these tiny pictures. I figured they might like to tag their pictures with marker, drawing some cute kitties and skulls on it. :p
