Added 2023-02-01 23:00:18 +0000 UTCHello Hello my friends~ I wanted to give you guys a blog post since it's the beginning of the month, although I don't think this one will be too hefty!
First - Kickstarter news! It's going really well and I've already started the process of getting the book inventory made. Even though I wont get my payout from Kickstarter until almost the end of March... I want things to go as smoothly as possible from then so that I can start shipping sooner rather than later. :) Now that I've made all the minor adjustments I needed to, I can start planning the extra goodies that will be included (prints and stickers and NSFW content, oh my!)
Second - I'm not sure exactly when... but either this coming week, or the following, I will probably skip a TLLT update. I'm not exactly running "behind", but my buffer is narrow right now-- less than a week, which is just out of my comfort zone. I can't say that this is anyone's fault but my OWN tbh... Giving you guys extra mini comics and artwork throughout my week consumes some of the time I COULD be using on comic panels. However, the extra stuff keeps TLLT really fresh for me-- I don't get burnt out on it when I can shift gears and draw Jaxsen/Kinley or Susan/Deja or the siblings, or whatever as fun break. Plus... from the response I usually get... you guys really love those mini comics/extras too, right? Lol. Hopefully they're worth having to skip a regular update once in a blue moon.
Aside from that ^^^ this month I will also try to be festive with a Valentine's day illustration AND a Mardi Gras illustration... Mardi Gras will take priority... probably... We'll see lol.
Third - Just some good news!!! Rowdy is coming to visit me at the end of March <3 <3 <3 He will be done with his own time-consuming work endeavors by then, and I'm super excited!!! I will most likely use the time that he's here as some vacation time for myself as well.
Last - I'm sharing the Judas painting because I LOVE how it's turned out so far. I still have to do some details before it's "done" (particularly around the eyes, and adding his necklace), but couldn't be happier so far. I'm gonna try and do a Fletch and Kinley painting to go with it too eventually. Then maybe offer some prints if anyone wants them~

Ooh, that all sounds like fun! There is just something cool about having artist/editor signatures on things that makes them so much more special. 🥰 And you can’t go wrong with the beach! 😁

2023-02-06 23:55:21 +0000 UTCItll most likely be a chill, well see what happens when he gets here. :) I'm going to try and rope him into signing a bunch of books for the kickstarter as long as I get the shipment in time... and we might take a trip to the coast because he's never seen it in my state! But other than that, yeah well just roll with it.

XD ) Personally, I am okay with occasionally skipping a normal post in exchange for fun extras and you not getting burnt out. XD I adore the mini comics and side artwork and getting to know the characters more~ I am EXCITED for a Mardi Gras extra! ( More so than Valentine’s Day, though I would happily take either, or both. ;) ) But Mardi Gras used to be my second favorite holiday, right after Halloween. Used to because I haven’t celebrated proper like since we moved away from NOLA. (That was the summer between fifth and sixth grade and I am turning 37 this year. 😩) Hope you and Rowdy have fun! 🥰 Got any exciting plans for the visit, or are y’all just doing a chill/we’ll see when we get there visit? XD
