This update is a little bit of a filler but I think its fun (and a good balance of mood). All in all I'm just happy I got to draw some more culture before we get to Texas and start a whole new leg of the story.

I wonder if it's worth clarifying that I didn't actually intend to make Fletch seem like he didn't want to go with Judas, just that he didn't care either way and is generally upset. :) either way, you're right to point out that Judas takes note of Fletchs lack of enthusiasm! He genuinely cares and wouldn't make Fletch do something he really didn't want to. (although we know from experiences past Judas does encourage Fletch to try new things). Anyway! I hope he addresses it and reassures fletch that he doesn't have to sacrifice what he wants to make Judas happy. Otherwise he will fall into the same habits he did with Kinley... Tho for Fletch to express disappointment rather than fake happiness shows he is comfortable enough not to wear a mask...love this comic btw

Get him and Fletch are feeling bad and hurt about the falling out but that's not exactly helpful. Is it logical to just jump in a rando strangers car? No. But tbf Kinley forced Fletch's hand by ditching him in the first place. Not had shrimp as seafood. Not had much seafood tbh outside fish and chips and scampi and chips. My town has a market (what's left of it) with fish stalls and a seafood stand anyway. Doesn't do shrimp but does other shellfish
