TLLT _ Thumbnail Dump

Here's something I haven't shared with you guys yet -- some of the thumbnails for TLLT. :)

Thumbnailing isn't something I used to do while making comics (I'd literally go page by page start to finish like a dumbass) and let me tell you-- its helped tremendously. Just getting initial ideas down on paper so that I have things to refer back to while drawing the actual panels makes my life so much easier. Plus, its fun to see what makes it into the comic vs what gets cut in the final.

What do you guys think of things like this? I know its not "good" artwork (it's not meant to be, these panels take about 30 seconds - 2 minutes to draw), but do you like to see pieces of the process? I can share more thumbnails with you in the future if you want :)

Thats great! :) thank you

It is for us too! Sometimes there's a whole extra bit that gets added to the final thats never a thought during the thumbnail process, and sometimes it's pretty spot on. :)

Process is fun! It’s kinda neat to see the start and compare to the finished product! :3

Adorable!! I always love seeing sketches and WIPs and such ☺️

I love seeing the process!!!

I'm glad you like to see it. :) haha and don't worry I'm not actually being critical of my thumbnails. They're not good in terms of how I can draw but they're still interesting to see. That's all 😂

"Not good artwork" is still a billion times better than what I can knock up. Shush. Give yourself more credit and stop being so critical on yourself. :P Honestly, it's nice behind-the-scenes stuff. It's fascinating as a reader seeing how your process is at putting stuff together, first as a concept and then as a finished product. There's a reason people like seeing concept art.
