Hey everyone!

Although the whole concept behind my new comic 'Call me Daddy' is still quite shrouded in mystery, I wrote this short story that'll illustrate better the next few pages to come.

I hope you all enjoy the first chapter of the written version of 'Call me Daddy', writen by our tiger protagonist. c:

Call Me Daddy

Chapter One

At the end of year 2016 I was enrolled into the Communications Academy trying to attain a degree in Advertising from the New Nycan Estate University. The almost two semesters I spent building connections and sharpening my skills proved to be unlike anything I had expected my education to be; fruitful and manageable.

The pursuit of a college degree brought honors and good careers to many, but for me it had nothing but migraines and a case of anxiety so bad that it became pathological. I left my studies incomplete and my colleagues behind in order to focus on my well being after having  small case of mental breakdown, which caused me to lock myself in the bathroom and cry for what felt like hours for no apparent reason. Within the week, I proceeded straight into a psychologist office to understand why my mental health had deteriorated so much in such a short period of time.

Having no family or close friends in New Nycan, I was free to do as I pleased - or as free as my meager informal teacher income would allow a gay man to be. Thanks to these circumstances, I naturally gravitated to the Night Owl, an erstwhile unique and privy café that has since succumbed to the masses and forsaken it’s delicacies quality in flavor to bland drinks and a rushed service, to hear older patrons tell it.

On the very day weather turned against me after a session with my psychologist and I ended up in the Night Owl by chance rather than by choice, I happened upon Bradley, an old acquaintance I had never bothered deepening my bonds with. Whereas I’d normally wave at him and be on my way, seeing as all the seats were taken, a long line of customers had been forming long before my arrival and the heavy rain showed no signs of stopping soon, I decided to use this chance to catch up and compare on whether life was being kinder to him than it was for me.

“Nathan!” He bellowed as I approached the burly and stocky bull in a straight line, taking him but a split second to notice my presence and eagerly hail me towards the empty seat next to him. “Whatever have you been doing with yourself? You look awful!”

I gave him a smile, as if his verbal abuse was an actual compliment, and a brief explanation of my latest endeavors, which took no time at all, it seemed, judging by how little the line at the counter moved.

“Yesh” Bradley said, with a weary expression.

“Could be worse” I answered before even realizing it was my turn to speak. Conditioned by years of mechanical and scripted social interactions. My politeness couldn't be more on point, my sincerness though…

“I've lost my seat then, haven't I?” said another voice, awfully close and alien to my liking.

Bradley and I looked up to see this tall red fox staring down at us, a wry smile plastered across his muzzle as he looked me with this intense look that felt both invasive and weirdly soothing, if there's even such a thing.

“Sorry, I'll…” I began to say, before he interrupted me with his smooth, but still alien, voice.

“Eh! There's no harm, mate. The house is awfully full today, isn't it?” he said, in a dismissive tone. Just as I began to recognize an European accent in his voice, he began talking again, “Is this seat taken, by any chance?”

After a couple seconds, he sat on top of my leg while still holding most of weight under his own legs, but sitting on me still. The sheer boldness of his action left me almost speechless. Well, entirely speechless, truth to be told. I don't believe that the faint disbelief noise that escaped my open mouth could be considered speech by anyone.

“So, what did I miss?” the bold fox said, looking back and forth between me and Bradley, who was just looking at him with his nonchalant expression, as if he's not only seen the fox do this before, but was used to it.

“Nothing much. By the way, this is Nathan, an old friend of mine.” Bradley said, throwing in the word friend like it was true, inflating the value and importance that our relationship ever had.

“Ah! Nice to meetcha, Nathan. I'm Gavin” said the red fox, looking straight into my eyes with his easygoing smile. That's how I came to picture him in my daily life; the foreigner with an easy smile and a carefree attitude.

“Mhmm” was as much as I managed to mumble as I nodded, still bemused with the fact that he was sitting in my leg. My eyes darted around the room instinctively, looking both for disapproving looks and free chair, but oddly enough, finding none.

“Okay, you can tell your story now” Gavin said as he leaned forward, crossing his arms on the table and looking at Bradley as a predator who's eyeing a delicious prey.

“Oh, that… well, I dunno if Nathan's okay with it.” said Bradley, suddenly looking miserable

“Of course he is. Nathan's a champ. Right, mate?” Gavin tapped my shoulder a few times before even looking at me, but by the time he did, I was already nodding in agreement, completely intoxicated by his friendly nature. I always hated people who were born with the ease to win people over like him, because secretly, I always wanted to be like that myself.

“Okay… Well uh, do you remember that guy I was dating? The short one, Jackie.” Bradley began, without putting up any sort of fight against sharing with us his tale, which turned out to be one of the most extraordinary, unusual and astounding sexual stories I've heard thus far in my life.
