Fraudulent Patrons (Fake Spammers)

Hey everyone!

During the second half of the last month, I got a lot of new pledges! All of them in the value of 25$ (the highest tier for a reward you can currently pledge). Problem is, most of them were Declined. That means that the credit card was invalid or something of the sort.

There are still two pledges that have the 'pending' status, so, I'm waiting until the payment period ends (from the 1st through the 5th) to make sure if they too will be declined.

So, in short, I believe that they are fraudulent scams, people who pledged money to skyrocket my virtual income. If they did that just for the sake of spamming, to get access to the newer pages or what, I have no idea, but I know that I won't be getting any money from them. In fact, my weekly patronage that now shows to be 350-so bucks per week, is in fact 200 or less.

That said, it was mentally taxing to go through this, especially because I just announced that we've reached a new milestone (250$ and two pages per week), and I didn't want to spoil the good news by undoing that and going back to one page per week. So yeah, I'm at a loss.

In the end, I call forth all of you, Patrons, to tell me what you think I should do.

I REALLY don't mind doing two pages per week, even if I'm getting less than those 250$. And while it is somewhat unfair on me to do that, it is very unfair to you all to cut the weekly pages back to just one.

On the Monday, I'll be contacting Patreon admins concerning this whole issue, and see what options and precautions can be taken to prevent this from happening again.

And I am very, very sorry, but I've been very down and depressed these last few days (not just because of this issue, but it surely contributed), so I will not be posting a new page today.

I hope we all can decide what's best for everyone and follow on with our lives merrily, but for now, we'll do what we can to get by. :)
