Progress on the next Arcana Sutra - Environment!
Added 2024-01-04 12:58:22 +0000 UTCHere's what I've been up to recently! The next episode of Arcana Sutra: Black Tentacles, will involve Eda Ul'Naireem, and it'll take place in her archive. I wasn't happy with the previous iteration of the Library (seen here), so I figured it was time for an upgrade. I wanted to go with a library/mage tower combo, since Eda is in and of herself a powerful spellcaster, even moreso than either Ezria and Xelthia.
I figured the Maroon Palace Archives should be a grand space filled with old knowledge and everything needed for a powerful wizard. I plan on adding plenty of other bits of clutter, like a hanging dragon skeleton, an enchanting station, alchemy table, summoning circle, a teleportation waystone, etc.

I second the glass window/panel - a throwback to your best one "on the glass" ;) Either way hoping said tentacles will be a little less tender, and a little more... wet and ready! Can't wait! It already looks amazing!

2024-01-04 15:21:28 +0000 UTCI love the design it's giving that sanctum Santorum vibes from Dr. Strange but better. It would say incense through the library would give it some ambience. Maybe some window stained Glass art as well. But all in all I love the upgrade

2024-01-04 13:42:17 +0000 UTCHm. Biggest thing I think it should have? One of those very comfy reclining couches, probably laden with pillows. I could see her relaxing on one while studying a thick tome of magic, lit by a smaller coffee table right beside it that's covered in melted candles to the point you'd think the whole thing was made of wax! Might even have an incense stick or two sticking out of the wax...
