Finally another Staff! Built off the SRD examples with 1-3 level spells contained in a rare, occasionally with an additional feature. Originally named Staff of the Catcher, but I lamented turning off comments.. Which might still happen.
Thematically, this is built to detain and capture. Perhaps something for NPCs who really are about to ruin a fleeing parties day?

Description:
This staff holds the unique shape of a Man-Catcher, aptly named for its ability to ensnare necks. At the end of the metal and obsidian rod is a circular collar embedded with spikes and sharpened gemstones. It is said that these staffs were originally used to corner escapees from the Tower, a magical prison constructed for the most vile. Whether there is truth in these tales is anyone's guess.
Tabs:
- This Staff holds 10 Charges and regains 1d6+4 charges every Dusk. While held, the user can expend charges to cast the following (Save DC:15).
- 1 Charge: Entangle
- 2 Charges: Hold Person
- 3 Charges: Slow
- Catcher: If a creature has been affected by a spell from this Staff, the user has Advantage on Grapple Checks against them for the next 1 Minute.
