Hat of Colorful Plumes: One-Sided.

For this item, it was laid out as a distracting and bolstering hat with colorful feathers. I can’t hear that without thinking of Will Turner’s hat at the end of Black Pearl, so I styled it similarly. Simple, effective, colorful with a fun Curse. I hope you enjoy it!

Description:

This wonderfully festive hat is crafted in a style made famous by buccaneers and duelists, with its main draw being an exceptionally large plumage. This gathering of feathers draws the eye of on-lookers and seems to shout out for attention. These carefully added feathers are held with a number of threads and leathers, creating an almost prismatic display.

Tabs:

• While wearing this hat, the user is able to cast the Guidance cantrip at a range of Self.
• Dazzling Color: As an Action, with a free hand, the user is able to sweep the hat in front of them as part of a noble bow. This imitates the effect of the Color Spray spell with a 10d10 rolling pool. Once used, this feature cannot be used again until the next Dawn.
• Curse: This hat holds a curse, a fact that is revealed only when an Identify spell is cast on it or the user attunes to it. When attuned, the user refuses to part with the hat and they are cursed until they are targeted by the Remove Curse spell. While under this curse, the user suffers Disadvantage on Attack Rolls if a reflective surface within 30ft is visible to them, as they obsess with the display of their reflection with the hat.
