Dwarven Crystal Cookie: One-Sided.

Greetings All!

I had an item, and I wanted to adapt for a bit of the holiday taking hold this week. Not necessarily ground breaking, but a fun consumable to distribute to the party this week or season. I’m enjoying exploring the Consumables in general, so hopefully I have some more edible items in the future.

While each ability is rather powerful on its own, the 1 Hour and 24 Hour Caps were put in place to keep it from being abused. I truly hope you enjoy, and get some use out of the festive colors!

Description:

These marvelous little creations are composed of sweetened dough and forged crystals, specifically made for consumption as a treat. Like most dwarven treats, an application of heat is vital in the creation of these sweets. In this case, it is used in forging the crystalized sugar to maintain form even when cooked into warm dough. While normally a children’s delight, elders often set aside coin for these unique varieties that carry hints of their native forge’s magic.

• As an Action, the user can consume this small tasty treat. They gain a benefit determined by the strongest flavor from the dissolving crystals, which is revealed by rolling a 1d4. This benefits effect lasts for a total of 1 Hour.
  • 1- Mint: A delightful coolness fills the user, they gain an additional 5ft to their Movement Speed.
  • 2 - Strawberry: A lingering sweetness stays with the user, immediately granting 2d6 Temporary Hit Points.
  • 3 - Lime: This sugary sour delight adds 1d6 to their Initiative Rolls.
  • 4 - Snozzberry: The user gains 1 Luck, as long as the aftertaste lingers, allowing the user to reroll one attack, ability check, or saving throw they dislike.
• The user can only gain the benefits of one cookie at a time in a 24 Hour Period. Consuming more will not replace the initial effect.
