Trying something new with this one!
I wanted an item that is essentially a loaner spellbook for spellcasters. An item and therefore not something that can be copied, but a boon of sometimes limited or overlooked spells. This should be a small part of a series of 3, I am excited to see what comes about from the others.
Happy with how the wording cleaned up, but there is always room for improvement. As always, I hope you enjoy and encourage thoughts/comments.

Description:
In eras past, items that ease access to the arcanum, such as this, were considered a spellcaster’s left hand. This type is known as the Sage’s Eye. Originally designed for scholars and watchers who delve into the truth of things, now these fist-sized gems that hold carved eyes that have seen the passage of centuries are held within wizarding towers and studies. They are treasures remnants of the past.

- This object is considered an Arcane Focus.
- In the user’s possession, the following spells can be cast as if they were known and prepared. The user must still expend the necessary spell slot as normal for casting the spell.
- Level 1: Identify
- Level 2: Darkvision
- Level 3: Clairvoyance
- Level 4: Arcane Eye
- Level 5: Scrying
- The user must maintain possession of the Sage’s Eye for the Duration of the spell, or the spell ends.
