Greetings All!

If we are being honest, Padded Armor in 5e is a bit rubbish. For being one of the most widely used armors in history, it doesn’t flex nearly enough muscle for a warrior and makes you a noisy beast as well. So with that in mind! I took a crack at making something worth wearing,

While I would have liked to bump it to uncommon, a simple +1 gets a rare ranking off the bat. So to balance that out, I made my very first destructible item. I am not normally a fan of the idea, but building it around a single charge with this gambit, let it almost build itself.

The Resist All for one attack is huge, massive even, so to balance it immediately gets a destruction roll upon use. While some players won’t sweat this detail, I thought it added a very interesting element to the gameplay. I believe it can be expanded upon for other rarity levels as well, though I might explore that aspect more later on. Until then, when was the last time you had someone wear Padded Armor?
