I also think it’s entirely possible Axel’s home life caused him to have internalized homophobia in High school and outing others would then “reaffirm” that they are the wrong “different ones” not him. I’ve honestly seen this kinda thing irl multiple times. I’m thinking it’s one of two situations: 1) He arrived at the scene after Axel and probably took the photo once Axel left 2) OR, it really was Axel who took the photo and showed it to Isaak privately later on since he was Axel’s only friend and wanted to talk to someone about it. Axel probably didn’t intend to have it spread and wanted to keep it a secret between them, but then Isaak maybe got a hold of the photo somehow and spread it all over the school

Come to think of it: Axel would probably NEGATIVELY be impacted by someone finding out that Keane and Onyx kissed, because that would jeopardize Keane on the basketball team (and Keane was one of the star players.) I been saying from the beginning that it wasn't Axel, and I'm glad this is confirming it. My suspicions: Hailey and Ethan had something to do with it. Ethan told Hailey that he and "Lynx" kissed; but Ethan knew that Lynx was Onyx. Hailey had been mad and jealous over Keane liking "Lynx", so I genuinely believe that it slipped out at some point from Ethan that Lynx was Onyx, and because Hailey helped her mom out at the school, she would have had opportunities to take photos of them and spread it around. It's assumed that Axel was spreading photos, but even when he saw Keane and Onyx kissing, he didn't even tell his dumbass friend, and it also doesn't show him taking pictures. I know Hailey and Ethan haven't been in the story for a while, but I genuinely think the two of them worked together to try and separate Keane and Onyx.

I give even toxic stories a chance but this episode pretty much confirmed that even when they head towards a positive direction, what happened isn’t okay at all. Wait really?? I’m so glad you replied because I was going crazy trying to find where they found our it was Axel. Turns out it was just speculation… but who could it be? Maybe Hailey or that other guy that liked Onyx as Lynx? Let’s not forget who has been hurt here. Hailey was hurt from Keane which could be someone. But also, that other guy is really close to Hailey that liked Lynx so it is possible that either of them could do this. The thing that confuses me is the angle of the photo because it is exactly where Axel could be standing… I don’t know if I’m forgetting anyone else?

Umm, this whole episode had me cringing so hard.💀 I had to put my phone down multiple times, I know they are toxic and I had a feeling this episode would go down this path smh.🤦🏽‍♀️ Kai’s behaviour isn’t cute at all and it’s actually disgusting, I’m being really honest. I can’t be the only one that feels that way, like hello? I’ve seen this happen with so many bl’s and I get the ick immediately. Aside from my previous comment, to talk about this chapter it was a very intense one. I’m glad Kai accepted his feelings, but what I wanted to point out is the author’s clever storytelling. Did anyone notice that when Kai asked Axel to sleep with him there was terror in the next panel with his eye? But not just any eye, it was the one Kai had cut with a knife? It really solidifies Axel’s terror and perhaps his current perception of Kai. Axel is still afraid of him and I love that clever little way the author conveyed it. Thank you for your hard work as always author!❤️

Okay guys hold on, we need to have a serious discussion here. This is a very nice episode yes but this is serious. When Kai mentioned Axel outing Oynx and Keane to the school, Axel was about to deny it and he didn’t seem like he was going to be lying. Given what we know so far, it was never outright stated that or confirmed in the story that Axel outed Oynx. It just seems that way because he was there when it happened. The only proof I think would suffice is the angle of the picture, but Axel didn’t have his phone out to take a picture when he was eavesdropping Onyx and Keane. We still don’t even know who posted the photo of them, I went back and saw that it was Anonymous. Also, I dont think Axel was ever homophobic, he probably was just shaken up by the fact that he found out Lynx, the girl he liked was actually a man and is trying to come to terms with it. If there was at any point where it was confirmed to be Axel posting the photo, then please let me know where because I can’t remember. What makes me more suspicious is the episode after Axel eavesdropping on Onyx and Keane, the author said they were laughing at how people were bad mouthing Axel. This makes me believe there is someone in the shadows that we haven’t thought of but is the one who took it.
