Plus starting off with some toxicity and having the relationship eventually transition to something healthier will show character growth which is great too imo.

I get the vibe that Kai genuinely thinks Axel is a homophobe and now (Kai) is questioning is own sexuality. while also Kai being in a gang he's just performing his role. I feel like it'll come out that neither one are bad people. We got a little snippet of Kai caring that Axel wasn't eating enough and working too much. Kai is just playing into the bad boy role and misunderstands who Axel is as a person. While it sucks that Axel did out Onyx, at the same time they were teenagers and I do believe Axel is hiding a lot of trauma. If he was truly homophobic and being mean to just be mean I feel like he would've done worse than what he did

2025-02-21 06:03:38 +0000 UTCahhh, i have so many book recommendations! if you’re into dark romance, i highly recommend the spine ridge university series by clarissa wild. the first three books had me completely in a chokehold —i couldn’t put them down! i haven’t read the latest one yet, but it’s definitely on my list and there’s another book dropping this nov! sooo i have to catch up soon lolol if that’s not your forte, i also enjoyed the dare by harley laroux. it’s a short story, but there are two additional books that expand on it. just a heads-up, though—it’s a poly romance with a lot of intense themes and trigger warnings, so be sure to check those beforehand! anyways yeah, i have more recommendations if you want more!!! just lmk.
