Maybe that s just me inwardly begging for representation but throughout the entire story he seemed to prefer cuddles and emotional bonding over sex. And it times when he sex was something expected he freaked out iirc. So the idea that he might be ace or sex averse can still hold. And that cuddle was absolutely adorable.
