This was a very interesting and fun update! I'm just gonna say a few words, the best I can manage to write with my English skills (sorry if it comes off as confusing) "^^ Spoiler alert for anyone who still needs to play the new build! Things in the fighting ring got even more exciting than I expected, and I really like the way our protagonists all had to work together to achieve their goals in the fastest way possible... With some almost-unplanned but very appreciated extra things happening here and there, you know what I mean "^^ And that scene was perfectly written and illustrated too! I'm very interested in seeing how Clyde will recover from this. And also, the last scene in his office with Sidd was absolutely hilarious. But the best part of this update were definitely the dialogues between the protagonists, not to mention their introspective thoughts. Sidd and Artemi's exchange before he left to look for Cole was truly touching for both of them, and the dialogue between Cole and Artemi when she was considering spilling the beans on the fighting ring was very interesting. And speaking of Artemi, she's probably becoming my favourite character as far as character development goes. In just one day outside her usual routine, she's learning so much about the world she lives in and the people who inhabit it, but she still feels the weight of her responsiblities. She's just too sweet, and I hope things will go well for her. But considering how she responded to Val slandering Cole, I'm sure she'll be alright. But this doesn't mean that I'm not loving the way Cole and Sidd are evolving, quite the opposite in fact! I absolutely love how Cole is starting to feel about his dishonest ways, and the fact that he sees magic as his own special thing. He's still my favourite when it comes to the little exchanges and the sly responses, but he's just a wonderful character in general as well. And as for Sidd, well, he's just a sweetheart and the way he talks about his mom is too lovely. And the fact that he's discovering some things about himself that he wasn't expecting to come out like this, all thanks to Cole... That's even more sweet, and kinda funny considering how it makes him behave. So all in all, I loved this update because it gave us some very interesting views on all of the protagonists, while also introducing some new interesting ones and throwing us in a very rough but cool scenario. The fighting was fun, the magic was fun, the lewd scene was amazing, the story is evolving in a great way and I just can't wait to see how things will go on now that our heroes are actually facing some real trouble. Let's just hope it goes well for all of them... And for Clyde as well "^^ Thanks for this great update, keep up the wonderful work!

Just too bad about Cole having to live up there in the un-air-conditioned attic. Must be like a sauna in there. I guess there's one reason the Bonebreaker men don't wear much. Though I wonder how Cole didn't know magic could be used for this before. I suppose buildings in the parts of the city he frequents tend not to have it? Or it's a fairly recent invention (I thought it might be with the whole wonders of new technology attitude Sidd has towards it). Cole is starting to feel like a mennonite seeing modern society for the first time. I very much look forward to seeing what other magical gadgets and contraptions are around. The bit with Artemi cheerfully mentioning she'd be placed in lockup for days for minor infractions in her childhood was some impressive tragicomedy. At this point I hopes she eventually meets Sidd's mother in person and sees what a proper family dynamic looks like. Not sure what to think about Val, other than that he does seem to be quite a good judge of character (even Cole admits he's got a point). Though he might be a bit too confident about Artemi; despite her confidence and strong moral compass, Cole has gotten her to tolerate a lot of things she wouldn't otherwise in the past few hours. Mostly out of necessity, admittedly. Clearly you've spent a lot of time working on the lewd scene, and it does look like you've been improving on writing those since Repeat. Especially in the lead up to it, with the passion well conveyed and with it not feeling rushed. The ending was actually quite suspenseful when Cole dozed off; for a time I thought that Clyde had figured out he was up to something and purposefully distracted and exhausted him with sex. But nope, looks like Cole was two steps ahead of him and caught him with his guard (and pants) down. Speaking of that though, it did throw me off for a moment to see them clothed as sprites, then in the buff again in the art when Sidd walks in. I suppose it's because that bit was unskippable? In all though, I was highly impressed with this update, and look forward to seeing where things go from here, how they get the gems back, and Sidd's journey of self-discovery. May he one day confidently join the Bonebreaker clan while sporting their trademark attire.
