The oldest update for that scene is like the 0.5.2 i think. or .5.1

Hi! This is old, but just go to an update before he decided to remove the scene. I personally thought that the scene still fitted, but I respect his decision. You don't even need to know Renpy, you can just access it right then and there.

All the old assets are still in the game directory--that scene is in day10_owen.rpy, preceded by day09_owen.rpy (the revised files have "-rewrite" in the filenames). If you know how to work Renpy there's no reason you couldn't play through it.

Well damn. I was expecting something big when seeing you so hyped about this update, but I didn't expect it to be this impressive. The dream sequence was excellent; far more than a short flashback, but a full alternate reality of what could have been. The poignancy of it all hit me in the feels harder than just about anything you've made so far. Felt a bit Man in the High Castle-y. I honestly expected drawing a strong memory to wake him up to be a turning point in Euca and Sissel's relationship, perhaps a moment where Euca realizes his strong feelings for Sissel, who responds in kind and wakes up. But I guess Teach still has the upper hand in personal connections. In the end, that does make much more sense, a happy memory of his growing relationship with Euca won't bring him back; he has it where he is. He'll have to be brought back by realizing that some things are more important than happiness. Still, I was surprised by Bradley's bluntness in shutting down the idea of bringing him back with a memory from Euca. It left me wondering for a moment if I made the wrong choice by making them have sex instead of pillow talk the night before :P. And Jinny, you realize you're joking about waking someone up when your best friend is in a coma right next to you? Too soon. Though she does seem to have a habit of using humour in stressful or frightening situations, it started to feel off-putting this time. I imagine it's a realistic behaviour, though I wouldn't be surprised if another character comments on it eventually. I'll have two agree with the above posters that Sissel's speech sounded much more like it was coming from an adult than a kid just starting his education. Altogether an excellent update that definitely lived up to the hype, even if (in my opinion) it had a couple of kinks to be worked out. Your writing is really reaching new levels, and I'm growing more and more impressed by the story you're crafting. Poor Sissel seems to be the highest priority target for the Remnant, with it pushing past everything in its way to get to him (come to think of it, I don't recall it going after Owen at all in his route. Maybe Echo will survive there?). I hope Echo isn't gone forever. I'm gonna miss my favourite camera ghost.

This is a good comment. I thought the writing for the jinny/sissel memory wasn't as strong as it needed to be. This is a chance to learn more about Jinny but her portrayal was flat and Sissel didn't have much personality either. His dialogue didn't sound like Sissel in the present, let alone as a younger kid.

I really liked everything in this update, except the writing in the kid portion. (also the "Sissel-Bittersweet" & "Sissel-Crying" sprites lack the hole in the torn shirt) I wanna know/remember how old they were when they met, because while the writing for Sissel's dialogue would've been fine for a late teen or a young adult, the inspirational speech feels a little off coming from a 9-12 year old. Some kids have the ideas/concepts in mind, but the delivery doesn't sound like it's coming from a kid, it seems too elaborate for it.
