In my opinion, you greatly improved it. Owen feels more alive and complex on this route, not to mention that there is more bonding between Euca and Owen. A shame with Samuel's sex scene, but you're absolutely right, it was meaningless (sexy meaningless), not to mention that I respect your decision that the quality of your game doesn´t depend on sex. In short, you are great.

I find the change of tone... odd. Not that it's bad at all, but you described Owen's first route as being too dark, yet so far, I find this new attempt even darker... almost too dark. Eh, if I can live without Samuel's old sex scene, but I do hope there'll be a way to somewhat romance him, I like him way too much and he needs cuddles. Owen was kinda insufferable, and insufferably passive in the first attempt (DO SOMETHING !!!), it's certainly a better attempt on his part.

Well that's a very good start, I like the new direction quite a bit. In the previous story you kind of just ended up in the middle of everything going on around you without much warning, this way has a more natural progression and feels like you are involved more by choice rather than by circumstance. Seeing more of Owen's character is a good thing too as he has a habit of just fading into the background in most cases. Once he stands out a bit more it will be easier to avoid having him be overshadowed by the other characters. I have to agree with your point about the sex scenes as well, they need to make sense within the context of the story and also have some sort of impact on the characters involved. I'll use the two scenes from the lake as an example, they both kind of came out of left field , and while not completely out of character for those involved, it doesn't really seem to have any impact on the story moving forward as everyone seems to forget it even happened two minutes later. At the very least it should slightly effect their interactions down the line, possibly being more awkward or maybe less depending on the situation. At any rate just my two-cents on things, I do enjoy the story immensely and look forward to seeing what comes next.

I really like how Owne's new sprites show off his muzzle and teeth. Considering how many of us are furries, I think you should consider showing off more of the character's animalistic features in future sprites. Things like muzzles, teeth, claws, tails, ect.

God damn it! XD This story has me more on my seats edge than the other one! Im so excited for the next update i feel like im gonna explode!

I just played the update. I was sad about the rework at first, as I thought the writing was spectacular and I at least felt bonded to Owen, BUT MAN...This new story for him tugged at my heart strings and made me feel for him way more. I sincerely can't wait to see where this story goes. You did awesome! Thanks again for always working so hard, and know that your life comes first, so don't lose sleep over trying to update quickly. We'll be here! <3

I am sorta sad though, that the *spoiler* scene with the motorcycle theft is now not seen yet. It was low-key my favorite scene out of the entire novel. But, I do like this new update very much!

I kind of like the idea of having to work for the sex scenes. They should be a reward rather than something that's just an option at certain parts.

I'm ok with taking Samuel's scene out of the game, is really strange and takes me away from the story I would appreciate if you just gave the images away as a separate thing
